About Us.
Engineers Without Borders is currently working on a well digging project to provide year round clean water for small village just outside of Chiwirapi, Bolivia. We are in the 2nd year of a 5-year commitment to make sure the needs are truly met for our Bolivian friends. We realize that human needs are not met in dry cut solutions but in relational care that result in sustainable methods. We hope that by improving an already beautiful culture’s water source they might enjoy longer, healthier lives.
To do this we need your help. We need a community that does not only support us financially but that uses their talents to help us with business, health, and environmental issues that are essential to our success.
Advisor
Fritz: My work is in the areas of hydrology, water resources, and education. I teach numerous classes, from freshmen to graduates. My research is broad, but generally follows the theme of sustainable water resources, including water supply and stormwater management. A particular interest of mine is working with under-served communities.
Vice President
Khaled Abdel-Rahim: I have been an active member of EWB-UI for 3 years now, and the opportunity to bring the community of Chiwirapi potable water in a sustainable way has been the most rewarding experience of my time in college.
Treasurer
Will Parker: As EWB-UI treasurer, I manage EWB-UI's financial accounts, prepare budgets and fiscal reports, purchase materials, tickets, and lodging for EWB-UI trips, and assist the fundraising team whenever I can.

President
Rachel Hill: I have been working with EWB for 3 years. It has been such a great experience that I have been continuing working with the project as the focus of my M.S. in Civil Engineering.
